Jeyanth Kumar (VTA No: 3838), a student of the Department of Commerce, School of Commerce, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, has brought great pride to the institution by securing 1st Place (Gold Medal) in the Senior Boys - Under 58 Kg category at the Tamil Nadu State Taekwondo Championship 2025. Taekwondo, a physically and mentally demanding martial art, requires high levels of discipline, strength, agility, and strategic thinking, all of which Jeyanth Kumar displayed with exceptional excellence. His continuous training, determination, and competitive spirit enabled him to outperform participants from various districts across Tamil Nadu. This remarkable achievement highlights not only his athletic ability but also his mental resilience and commitment to excellence. The Department of Commerce and the School of Commerce proudly congratulate S. Magesh Kanna Y (VTA No: 3791), a student of the Department of Commerce, School of Commerce, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, has brought great pride to the institution by securing 1st Place in the 18 Years - Boys category at the I st State Level Silambam Championship 2025, organized by the Tamil Nadu Silambam Sports Victory Association (TNSSVA). Silambam, the traditional martial art of Tamil Nadu, requires a high level of discipline, agility, strength, and precision, all of which Magesh Kanna demonstrated with remarkable skill. His consistent practice, dedication, and competitive spirit enabled him to excel in the Stick Fight (Fencing) event and outperform participants from various districts. This commendable achievement highlights not only his physical ability but also his mental focus and commitment to excellence. The Department of Commerce and the School of Commerce proudly congratulate Magesh Kanna Y on this outstanding accomplishment and wish him continued success in his future academic and sporting endeavours.
S. VIGNESH II Year B.Com. has made us proud by securing Gold medals in Under 21 and Senior categories at the Thiruvallur Karate Championships. He won Gold (-75kg) & Bronze (-75kg) at the 42nd Tamil Nadu State Championships.
Our full time Research scholar in school of commerce Ms.Sindhuja.S ,has presented a paper in International Conference on virtual Reality in Retail ,Industry, Banking& Marketing Organized by SRM University, Ramapuram held on 21/2/25 titled A Study on Enhancing Customer Experience through virtual product Trails. School of Commerce Appreciates Our Students of I Year & II Year, B.Com who has participated in Intercollegiate Competition organized by Alpha College "KALAKRITHI 2025" and won the First Prize in FASHION WALK.
Students from the School of Commerce achieved remarkable success. Mohana from I BCom C, along with Kaviyasri and Mirdula from I BCom D, won second prize in the Feet on Fire competition, demonstrating their agility and enthusiasm. In the Mime event, students Navapriya, Vaishnavi, Tejasvi, Bhavana, and Nisha from I BCom B, along with Alice, Vimala, and E. JoyeElizabeth from I BCom D, secured first place, showcasing their creativity and excellent teamwork. Their performances were widely appreciated by both the audience and judges. The event provided a platform for the students to express themselves and celebrate the spirit of womanhood.
