Student Activity clubs in engineering colleges play a crucial role in enhancing students’ overall development. They provide youthful brains and emotions an outlet and a stage for their creative energy. These clubs offer a platform for students to explore their interests beyond academics and foster a sense of community. provide students with opportunities to collaborate, learn, and showcase their talents. Engaging in such clubs can help students develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, making their college experience more well-rounded and enjoyable.
The department has various clubs such as
- Association for Communication Engineers Club
- Engineers without Border Club
- Programming Club
- Robotics Club
These clubs are faculty co-ordinated by Ms. Diana Earshia, Dr.Vijayalakshmi, Mr.S.Aswath and Dr.Anandan respectively.
The clubs were inaugurated on 25th August 2023 by Dr.R.S.Valarmathi, Dean SoEC, and Dr. A. Selwin Mich Priyadharson, Head, ECE, and its faculty co-ordinators.
During the event office bearers of all the clubs were introduced by respective coordinators. The student secretary of each club namely Mr.Syed Asadh, Mr.Bhanu Prakash K, Mr. A.Karan, and Mr. Ruthwik Kumar, final ECE students, shared about the events proposed to be conducted for the academic year 2023-2024.
