Project Description
  • The project focuses on developing bimetallic structures using additive manufacturing techniques for structural and aerospace applications.
  • The selected candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with and visit (One month/year) Universiti Sains Malaysia and Nanyang Technological University for advanced research activities.
Fellowship Rs. 37,000/- per month + 8% HRA as per DST norms
Essential Qualifications M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Materials / Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent with GATE/NET qualification. GATE is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant research/project experience
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in additive manufacturing, metallurgy, or related fields.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for research work.

Project Title Multifunctional Colloidal Sulfur Particles A Promising Green Pesticide for Practical Agriculture Applications
Funded by Sustainable & Innovative Technologies in Agriculture(AGRO-TECH) Under the Scheme Technology Development Programme, Department of Science and Technology (DST), India
Duration 2.0 Years
Requirement ME/M.Tech or Postgraduate in Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Agribiotechnology, Chemical sciences or allied disciplines with GATE/CSIR –UGC NET qualification and/or selected through any National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc., is preferred
Role/Experience

· Candidate will be involved in preparation, development and optimization of process parameters for nanosulfur based formulations and other field investigations.

· Applicant must with prior knowledge of nanoparticle synthesis, characterization, antimicrobial- phytopathogen investigations and pesticide development activities will have a preference
Salary Rs 31000 + Rs 7440  HRA ( for 2 years)
