Dr. A.Jayabal is a Doctorate degree in Commerce and has academic and research experience for more than Three Decades. Tasked with the responsibility of Dean-School of Commerce, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr.Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai-62, he takes on every challenge with elan and panache.
Academic: He has a rich experience as Head of the Department, Governing Council member, Academic Council Member, BoS Chairman and Coordinator of NAAC. He was also honoured with best teaching award from Royal University of Bhutan and honoured with best researcher adviser award from IRA and recognized with a membership in various professional bodies like global professors welfare association and various expert committees for different universities UGC and AICTE. He is an Advisory Board Member of Indo-Bhutan Journal of Advanced Commerce and Management and the Member of Board of Studies of various institutions. He is a Journal Reviewer of Commerce and Management Studies in Singapore & Malaysia. He is an Editorial Board Member of Industrial Magazine.
He organized 4 International Conference, 6 National Level Workshop, 4 National Level Conference, 6 National Level Seminar, 4 ED Business and Commerce Exhibition apart from he organized more programme like Skill Training, Guest Lectures, International/National Faculty Development Programme, Personality Development Programme. He visited 20 institutions to deliver Chief Guest Address, and 5 institutions for External Auditor for Quality Assurance. He has signed 5 MOUs and Published 2 Books and Patent.
Research: Dr.A.Jayabal has an in satiable appetite for research and 1 scholars received Doctorate under his guidance and 5 are pursuing and 350 Finance Projects guided for MBA students. His research area of interest includes General Commerce, Finance, Marketing and Human Resources. He has presented more than 18 research papers in various National and International conferences. He also contributed 32 research articles in leading National and International journals and Industrial Magazines.
Industry: Aside from academics, Dr.A.Jayabal has carved a niche for himself as a Business & Strategic Consultant for various concerns located at Chennai. He is an expert Consultant in Finance, Taxation and Accounting , for having assisted in setting up a Finance and Administration Department including designing and implementing the transaction/process flow of the department for start-up company M/S. Indocool Metals Private Limited, Chennai. He is the President of Madhram Nagar welfare association since 2019.
