Dr. M. Rajeev Kumar is the Professor (CSE) & Dean (Quality Assurance) of Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology. He received his B.Tech. (Information Technology) and M.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) degrees from Anna University, Chennai in April 2006 and June 2008 respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree at Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and technology, Chennai in the area of Biometrics in 2020. He is presently employed as a Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.
He is having 15+ years of teaching experience. His research interest includes Biometrics, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning. He has published more than 20 research articles in International, National Journals and International and National Conferences in his field of expertise. In addition to the academic responsibilities, he is also responsible for Accreditations, Rankings, Ratings, etc. awarded by several National and International agencies. He shared his expertise about Outcome Based Education, NIRF, NBA and NAAC methodologies as a resource person through faculty development programs organized by various reputed institutions.
